Hold for Pickup

UPS will deliver your package to the UPS Customer Center you choose and then call the recipient when the package is ready. Packages are usually available by 8:30 a.m. on the scheduled day of delivery.

Present the following identification at the time of pickup:

Recipient: Government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's license, passport, or military ID

Recipient's Representative: Company ID or a letter authorizing package release

Shipper Release

Have UPS deliver your package without requiring the recipient's signature.

• UPS will not obtain a signature upon delivery.
• A UPS delivery record will be conclusive proof of delivery.
• The shipper accepts liability for any loss or damage to the package after delivery.

• Ship Notification: Advises that UPS has received information about packages shipped, and provides a scheduled delivery date
• Delivery Notification: Confirms the delivery of a package

• UPS will accept C.O.D.s for amounts up to US$50,000 per shipment or the equivalent in local currency.
• UPS will accept a business or personal check, or another negotiable form of payment.
• At the shipper's request, UPS will accept a cashier's check or money order only.
• UPS will not accept currency in any amount.
• The shipper assumes all risk related to the collection of the payment, including non-payment, insufficient funds, and forgery.

Declared Value

UPS automatically protects every shipment against loss or damage up to a value of US$100.00. With Declared Value, you can request additional protection up to US $50,000.00 per package.

Saturday Delivery

For time-critical shipments, UPS offers the convenience of Saturday Delivery.

Saturday Delivery commitment times depend on the shipping service you choose:

• UPS Next Day Air® Early A.M.®: Guaranteed delivery one hour later than the guaranteed weekday delivery time, as early as 9:00 a.m., based on destination

• UPS Next Day Air®: Guaranteed delivery by 12:00 noon or 1:30 p.m. where weekday shipments are delivered by 10:30 a.m. or 12:00 noon, respectively, based on destination

• UPS 2nd Day Air®: Guaranteed delivery by end of day for shipments picked up on Thursday, based on destination

• UPS Worldwide ExpressSM Plus: Delivery based on destination

• UPS Worldwide ExpressSM: Delivery based on destination

United States Postal Service

Express Mail® is our fastest service for time-sensitive letters, documents or merchandise. Guaranteed next-day and second-day delivery nationwide or your money back.

Next day delivery by noon or by 3:00 pm to many destinations.

Delivery to most addresses in the United States - including PO Boxes and military addresses

Delivery to most locations 365 days a year, including Sundays and holidays at no extra charge.

Now you can have delivery of documents and packages made in an average of 2 to 3 days. Low flat-rate shipping is also available with Priority Mail for any destination and any weight up to a 70 lb. maximum.

Postcards, letters, and large envelopes can be sent using First-Class Mail®. This service, along with Priority Mail and Express Mail, can be used for personal correspondence, handwritten or typewritten letters, and bills or statements of account. It may also be used for advertisements and lightweight merchandise. The weight limit for First-Class Mail is 13 ounces. For heavier items, use Priority Mail.

Media Mail® service is a cost efficient way to mail books, sound recordings, recorded video tapes, printed music, and recorded computer-readable media (such as CDs, DVDs, and diskettes). Media Mail can not contain advertising except for incidental announcements of books. The maximum weight for Media Mail is 70 lbs.

Global Express Mail® now offers day certain service with a money back guarantee to Australia, China, Hong Kong, Japan and Korea. It is a fast way to ship overseas.

Global Priority Mail (GPM)® is an accelerated airmail service that provides customers with a reliable and economical means of sending correspondence, business documents, advertising messages, printed matter, and light-weight merchandise 4 pounds and under to over 51 countries and territories worldwide.

There's a good reason Global Airmail Letter-post and Global Airmail Parcel Post services have been around for so long. They both provide convenient ways to ship items to virtually every country in the world. Each of these shipping services has its own unique advantages.

Certified Mail

With Certified Mail™ you can be sure your article arrived at its destination with access to online delivery information. When you use Certified Mail, you receive a receipt stamped with the date of mailing. A unique article number allows you to verify delivery online. As an additional security feature, the recipient’s signature is obtained at the time of delivery and a record is maintained by the Post Office™. For an additional fee, you can request a copy of the signature record before or after delivery with Return Receipt.

Choose Return Receipt when you want proof of delivery (information about the recipient’s signature and actual delivery address). A return receipt may be purchased before or after the mailing. A mailer purchasing return receipt service at the time of mailing may choose to receive the return receipt by mail or e-mail. Mailers that receive the return receipt in the mail receive a green postcard with the recipient’s actual signature.

Delivery Confirmation

Verify delivery with Delivery Confirmation. Our low cost Delivery Confirmation service gives you the date, ZIP Code™ and the time your article was delivered. If delivery was attempted you will get the date and time of attempted delivery.
